Someone named Alex sent a picture of a page from TV Guide to Equestria Daily, where it was published today at 00:27Z. The photo shows a synopsis of the season two finale:

Who’s “MWB”? Anyway, the air date given is April 21, which means that we’ll probably have to endure one more gap until the finale if the episode on April 21 is number twenty-five (or the whole two-parter on one day), or no gap at all if it is the last episode.
Derpy Hooves News found out that the current TV Guide does not contain the paragraph, so its authenticity can’t be confirmed at this point. It may be an advance copy of the next issue.
I thought a blue shield with Twilight’s star on it as cutie mark for her brother makes a great nod to Past Sins fans, hence the image above. See also More Information on Princess Cadence and Shining Armor.
